CT Bar's YLS Honors Firm for Outstanding Pro Bono Service

December 13, 2013

The firm has been recognized as a leader for its contributions to the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section’s “$1 Million Pro Bono Service Campaign,” run in collaboration with the Pro Bono Network. Attorneys from the firm performed more than $250,000 worth of pro bono services, earning a place in the “$250,000 Club” and making a significant contribution to the campaign’s final result of more than $2 million worth of attorney time (and double its original goal).

In an effort to increase attorney participation in pro bono work to assist poor and disadvantaged individuals with their legal needs, the campaign secured pledges from law firms and individual practitioners to perform a specific number of hours of pro bono service between March 1, 2013 and May 31, 2013. The campaign’s pledge also included a commitment to promote pro bono opportunities within firms and the community.
