Pat Naples is a trial and appellate litigator in the firm's Real Estate, Environmental, Land Use, and Construction Practice Group.  In these sectors, Pat assists clients with a broad range of matters, including administrative appeals, constitutional torts, takings claims, Fair Housing Act issues, bid protests, lease disputes, and other contract-based actions.  In addition, Pat drafts amicus curiae briefs for clients seeking to vindicate their interests in these sectors.

Pat also maintains an active appellate practice across a variety of practice areas.  In that capacity, Pat has served as lead or co-lead appellate counsel in civil and criminal appeals before the Second, Fourth, and Ninth Circuits, as well as state appellate courts in Connecticut and Virginia. 

Finally, Pat represents clients in a variety of complex civil and criminal trial litigation.  Pat has assisted government contractors confronting whistleblower claims, creditors embroiled in adversary proceedings, and individual clients facing prosecution for fraud and other offenses.

Before joining the firm, Pat served as a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, a law clerk for Special Master Lisa Hamilton-Fieldman of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and a judicial intern for the Honorable Samuel Der-Yeghiayan of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
