Lee Anne Duval

Partner and Associate General Counsel
Lee Anne Duval serves as Shipman’s Associate General Counsel. In that capacity, she focuses on legal ethics, corporate governance, professional responsibility and risk management. She provides advice to the firm’s lawyers and staff regarding ethical obligations, firm policies and procedures and risk management. Lee also regularly provides in-house training on ethics, attorney-client privilege, corporate governance and professional conduct for the firm’s clients.
Prior to her role as Associate General Counsel, Lee focused her practice in the areas of complex business and intellectual property litigation, representing clients nationally in both state and federal courts in all phases of litigation at the trial and appellate levels.
Prior to joining the firm, Lee was a law clerk to the Honorable Holly B. Fitzsimmons, United States Magistrate Judge, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
