Alison Baker practices in the area of civil litigation, where she handles business and commercial litigation matters, insurance coverage disputes, and real estate disputes. Alison routinely litigates a variety of legal issues involving contract disputes, business torts, statutory violations, fraudulent transfers, and breaches of fiduciary duty.
Alison has significant experience in a variety of real estate disputes and represents numerous banks, creditors, business entities and individuals in litigation, arbitration and mediation. Among other matters, Alison regularly represents the interests of parties in complex commercial foreclosure proceedings, landlord-tenant disputes, construction defect claims, easement disputes, and claims of adverse possession.
Alison has experience practicing in both state and federal court and in representing parties in both domestic and international arbitrations.
An active member of the firm’s pro bono committee, Alison has dedicated hundreds of hours to providing free legal services to individuals, including refugees, veterans, victims of the Holocaust, children, and the elderly.
Outside the office, Alison is an avid trail runner who enjoys competing in ultra marathons with the support of her husband and their two daughters.
