We are seeking an associate to join our Employee Benefits practice. Candidates should have one to two years of employee benefits experience, with executive compensation and qualified retirement plan experience preferred. Experience dealing with complex benefits issues associated with various corporate transactions is considered a plus. An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred, but not required. Finance & Real Estate Attorney - Connecticut Preferred; Remote will be considered
We are seeking an attorney to join our national commercial real estate lending practice. Candidates should have a minimum of six years of experience in commercial real estate representing either borrowers and/or lenders. Preference for candidates with experience in all asset classes (e.g. office, multi-family, retail, hospitality), and experience with structured debt and secondary market (e.g. the buying and selling of loans). Knowledge of New York governing law, particularly New York lien law, and/or consolidation and assignments is preferred, as is admission to the NY and CT bar. Finance/Corporate Trust Lawyer - CT or Remote
We are seeking a lawyer with a minimum of four years of experience in transactional work to join our well-established, nationally renowned Corporate Trust practice. Our Corporate Trust group works closely with the capital markets and loan agency departments of major national banks and other financial institutions, representing them as trustees, administrative agents, escrow agents and collateral or security agents in a wide variety of corporate debt, project finance, municipal bond, secured and structured financing transactions and defaults. Applicants with finance or securities/capital markets experience would be ideal. Successful applicants must have the ability to work with complex transactional documents and prioritize work in a deadline-intensive environment. We are seeking an associate to join our national longstanding health law practice. Candidates must have three to five years of health law experience involving the representation of healthcare providers in regulatory and corporate and transactional matters. The candidate should have substantial knowledge of state and federal regulatory aspects of health law including HIPAA, Stark, anti-kickback, fraud and abuse, contract drafting/review, compliance, licensure and accreditation and transactional matters. School Law Associate – Hartford or Stamford
We are seeking two attorneys with a minimum of two to three years of experience to join our prominent and thriving education law practice in either Hartford or Stamford. The first candidate should have experience in representing public schools, or have comparable legal experience. Experience in one or more of the following education law areas is preferred: disability matters including special education, student discipline and student rights, Title IX, investigations, labor relations including collective bargaining and grievance arbitration, employment counseling, Board governance, and non-discrimination issues. The second candidate should have experience in representing independent schools, colleges or universities or have comparable legal experience. Experience in one or more of the following education law areas is preferred: student accommodations, student discipline, employment, non-discrimination issues, investigations, and non-profit governance. Transactional Intellectual Property / Corporate Lawyer - CT or Remote
We are seeking a lawyer with extensive transactional intellectual property experience to join our corporate practice. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of broad transactional experience including significant experience leading and negotiating IP aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, software licensing, and IP agreements. Significant experience in structuring, drafting and negotiating IP terms and agreements, including software licenses and pharma/biotech collaboration agreements, is required. Experience in patent and/or trademark clearance and noninfringement opinions is considered a plus. Candidates must be self-starters and must be able to work as a member of a team on complex transactions. Top academic credentials and excellent written and interpersonal skills are required.
