
Kimberly Cohen is co-chair of Shipman's Finance Department, where she handles complex financial transactions as well as default and workout matters. Kim practices in all areas of corporate trust, representing indenture trustees, collateral agents, administrative agents, and escrow agents in a wide variety of matters. She has extensive experience in default and distressed transactions, representing clients in connection with restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency-related matters, advising secured and unsecured creditors in connection with both in and out of court restructurings and liquidations.
Kim also represents her clients in connection with new transactions, advising them from deal inception through ongoing administration. She has experience representing clients in wide-ranging industries, including financial services, aircraft financing, energy companies, vessel operations, and others
Kim centers her practice in collaboration, which has fostered long-standing relationships with her clients and partner firms.
