Jessica Signor is an associate in our Business Litigation practice, where she focuses her practice on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights.  She has handled a wide range of commercial and civil litigation matters in State and Federal Court, including representation of creditors in Chapter 7 cases, renegotiation of licensing agreements in bankruptcy and settlement of preference claims. In addition to legal research, Jessica has drafted pleadings and briefs (including to the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court) and has argued motions in court. She also conducts various aspects of pre-trial discovery, including taking depositions. 

While attending the University of Connecticut School of Law, Jess was a legal intern for the Honorable Joan N. Feeney of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts. After graduating law school, Jess was a law clerk for the Honorable Julie A. Manning of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut.
