Joseph Williams Appointed to Connecticut's New Shoreline Preservation Task Force

Joseph Williams, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate, Environmental and Land Use practice, has been appointed to serve on the Connecticut General Assembly’s newly created Climate Change and Shoreline Preservation Task Force.

The bipartisan task force, chaired by Rep. James Albis, was created to examine how Connecticut can protect its shoreline, adapt to changes in climate and react to major weather catastrophes. Mr. Williams brings his experience in the areas of environmental and land use permitting and litigation to the task force, which includes representatives and senators from coastal towns and other experts.
