Jiran Honored by Hartford's Camp Courant

September 28, 2015

Gabriel J. Jiran, a partner with the firm and a member of the Board of Directors for Hartford’s Camp Courant, was recently honored by the Camp for his considerable volunteer and pro bono work.  Governor Dannel Malloy presented Attorney Jiran with the 2015 Award at the 16th Annual Buddy Bash, the Camp’s annual fundraiser.  Camp Courant is the nation’s oldest and largest free summer day camp and serves thousands of children throughout the Hartford area each year.  To celebrate the renovation of the Camp’s swimming pool, this year’s event had a popular construction theme.

Attorney Jiran is Chair of the Shipman & Goodwin’s Employer Defense and Labor Relations Practice Group, where he represents corporations and public employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. In addition, he is the former Chair of the firm's Diversity Committee and serves as President of the Lawyer's Collaborative for Diversity.
