Steven Lapp Named to Executive Committee of CAPABA

Steven Lapp a partner in the firm's construction and renewable energy practices, has been appointed to serve as Vice President of Membership for the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association (CAPABA).
CAPABA’s mission is to support Asian Pacific American attorneys and communities and those interested in Asian Pacific American legal issues throughout the state of Connecticut. CAPABA established a Mentor Program to assist Asian Pacific American law students in Connecticut to become successful attorneys and an Asian Pacific American Legal Referral Service to encourage professional relationships among those attorneys. CAPABA also partners with local and national bar associations in sponsoring programs and conferences. Steven was thrilled to be named to CAPABA's executive board as Vice President of Membership. The newly appointed CAPABA board members and officers officially begin their term on Monday, January 29, 2024.
Steven focuses his practice in the areas of construction and renewable energy law. He represents renewable energy firms, contractors, suppliers, and sureties, as well as other Connecticut-based businesses and public and private educational institutions, in dispute resolution, legal compliance and regulatory matters. In addition, Steven is also a skilled commercial litigator, with experience in a diverse range of business and commercial disputes, as well as easement enforcement and adverse possession claim, intellectual property litigation, and land use and zoning matters.
