Shipman & Goodwin Promotes Ten to Partner, Elevates One to Counsel
Promotions Involve Seven Women, Four Offices and More than Half a Dozen Practices

Shipman & Goodwin LLP today announced that 10 attorneys from four offices have been elevated to partner and one has been promoted to counsel.

- Washington, DC Office
- Alison P. Baker, promoted to partner, joined as an associate in 2008 (until 2014) and returned to the firm in 2015. She practices in the area of civil litigation, where she works on corporate and financial litigation matters and insurance coverage disputes.
- Katherine M. Hance, elevated to partner, joined as an associate in 2010. She represents insurers on a wide range of coverage and insurance issues, bankruptcy-related matters and claims of bad faith.
- Joshua P. Mayer, promoted to partner, joined as an associate in 2014 and practices in the area of civil litigation, insurance and reinsurance, focusing on product liability and tort matters.
- Myles Morrison, elevated to partner, joined as an associate in 2015. He has represented clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including contract, class action, insurance, malpractice and real estate disputes.
- Miranda H. Turner, promoted to partner, joined as an associate in 2016. She focuses her practice on general commercial litigation in federal and state courts.
- Abigail W. Williams, promoted to partner, joined as an associate in 2015. She focuses her practice on general commercial litigation and insurance coverage in federal and state courts around the country.

- Julia R. Camarco, promoted to partner, joined as an associate in 2015. She represents private equity funds, venture capital funds, emerging growth and mature companies, health care providers and other business entities in connection with a variety of commercial transactions.
- Michael Chase, promoted to partner, joined as an associate in 2011. He represents organizations and individuals in government investigations, internal investigations and both criminal and civil litigation.
- Danielle McGrath Braun, promoted to counsel, joined as an associate in 2005 (until 2007) and returned to the firm in 2014. She practices in the area of public finance and municipal law, serves as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel in tax-exempt and taxable financings and represents borrowers under the State of Connecticut Clean Water Fund Program.

- Gregory P. Muccilli, elevated to partner, joined as counsel in 2014. His practice focuses on real estate development, commercial financing, commercial leasing and land use counseling, particularly in New Haven County, Connecticut.
- Stamford, CT Office
- Kelly A. Trahan, promoted to partner, joined as counsel in 2018 and practices commercial finance and real estate law, representing national and community banks, insurance companies and other lending institutions.
The promotions are effective as of January 1, 2020.
