Shipman & Goodwin LLP is pleased to announce that Robin C. Fried has joined the firm as Counsel in the Real Estate Practice Group.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Robin and expand our transactional and leasing capabilities,” said Lisa Zana, Co-Chair of Shipman’s Real Estate Practice Group. “We look forward to the energy she brings to our practice and growing our Tri-State commercial real estate footprint.”
With nearly 20 years of experience working in all aspects of commercial real estate within the Tri-State area, Robin’s transactions-focused practice will support Shipman’s real estate clients and its robust Real Estate practice group. She represents clients in the purchase, sale, and financing of multi-family and mixed-use properties, and counsels landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions, including the negotiation of commercial office, retail, and shopping center leases, subleases, brokerage, and termination agreements. Robin also represents parties in construction and development projects, counseling architects, engineers, general contractors, construction managers, project managers, and vendors in contract negotiations and in connection with build-outs for various types of properties.
“After working with the firm’s attorneys for many years, I am excited to join Shipman,” said Robin. “Whether counseling clients at the beginning of a commercial purchase or sale or digging into a multi-family design-build project, I look forward to working with Shipman’s real estate clients and supporting a world-class commercial real estate team.”
Robin is licensed to practice in Connecticut and New York and will reside in Shipman’s Stamford office.
