Shipman Adds Depth to Middle Market Commercial Finance Practice

Shipman & Goodwin LLP is pleased to announce that Katilee Boisvert has joined the firm as a Senior Associate in the firm’s commercial finance practice.

Katilee adds to the well-rounded bench of finance lawyers at Shipman, bringing extensive experience representing primarily middle market clients in all aspects of mezzanine financing, secured and unsecured lending, and senior and junior subordinated lending. She is adept in structuring asset-based, acquisition and real estate financing. Her clients have included banks, funds and other lenders as well as borrowers, and she provides advice on structuring and negotiating the financing transactions that best meet her clients’ goals.
Katilee is a member of Shipman’s Business and Corporate Practice Group as well as the manufacturing and food and beverage industry teams. She provides advice on general corporate and business matters to middle market and start-up companies, including corporate governance and restructuring. She acts as outside general counsel for a variety of companies, working as their sole counsel or supplementing their in-house counsel’s roles. As outside general counsel, she drafts, reviews and negotiates a broad range of commercial contracts for companies across a number of industries, including manufacturers and food and beverage companies. Her expertise in this area allows her to guide her clients through the legal review and negotiation process while keeping in mind their specific business needs and models.
Prior to joining Shipman, Katilee was a corporate and commercial finance lawyer at Robinson & Cole.
