Representation of Senior Living Facility in Federal Court against Allegations of Sexual Harassment
Represented a senior living facility in a federal court lawsuit by a former employee, who claimed that she was sexually harassed by a supervisor and that the company failed to take appropriate steps to prevent such harassment. After the plaintiff continuously failed to comply with her discovery obligations, our motion for sanctions was granted--which resulted in the lawsuit being dismissed and the employer being awarded its attorney’s fees in regard to the motion for sanctions.
