Andrew Zeitlin Elected Board President of Boys & Girls Club of Stamford

Shipman & Goodwin partner Andrew M. Zeitlin has been elected to a two-year term as President of the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, effective January 2020. The Boys & Girls Club of Stamford strives to provide a positive place for kids and a safe haven where young people can learn and have fun. Andrew has served on the Board of the organization since 2015, and most recently served as Vice President. While leading the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, Andrew will seek to further the organization’s mission, which is to enable children to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
Andrew practices in the area of business litigation, with a focus on business torts and creditor’s rights. He represents clients in both federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings in a variety of matters, including partnership and corporate disputes, unfair trade practices, white collar matters, foreclosures and contract and real estate disputes. His practice includes work on trial and appellate proceedings. He has been listed as a Connecticut Super Lawyer in the area of Business Litigation since 2013.
In addition to his involvement with the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, Andrew serves on the Boards of the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and the Brandeis University Alumni Association, and he chairs the Ethics Board of the Village of Rye Brook, New York. Previously, Andrew coordinated Shipman & Goodwin’s pro bono program assisting Holocaust survivors in applying for pensions from the German government.
