2024 Chambers Guide Recognizes 22 Shipman Lawyers as Leaders in Their Field

Shipman & Goodwin’s Connecticut lawyers have been recognized in 7 different areas of practice, and 22 of the firm’s lawyers have been recommended as “Leaders in Their Field” by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2024, the nation’s preeminent guide to law firms and individual attorneys. The firm again ranks in Band 1 for Environment, Healthcare and Real Estate in Connecticut and five lawyers are newly ranked this year.
For the twenty-second consecutive year, Shipman’s Connecticut law offices have been recognized in multiple areas of practice: Corporate/M&A; Environment; Healthcare; Labor & Employment; Litigation: General Commercial; Real Estate, and Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use.
The following lawyers were ranked in Band 1 in their respective areas: Andrew N. Davis in Environment, Joan W. Feldman in Healthcare, Aaron D. Levy in Environment, Kent S. Nevins in Real Estate, Daniel A. Schwartz in Labor and Employment and Joseph P. Williams in Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use.
Of particular note, Kent S. Nevins was named once again as a “Star Individual,” a special ranking awarded to lawyers who have received exceptional recommendations in their field.
The five newly ranked lawyers this year are: Glenn M. Cunningham in Litigation: General Commercial, Marc R. Esterman in Corporate/M&A, Scott M. Gerard in Real Estate, Lisa M. Zana in Real Estate and Andrew M. Zeitlin in Litigation: General Commercial.
