Exercise of Remedies in Connection with New York City Mortgage

Represented a United States investment bank in connection with the exercise of its remedies pursuant to a mortgage that encumbers a Class A office building in Midtown Manhattan and secures more than $500 million of indebtedness. Negotiated forbearance agreement, asset management agreements, deposit account control agreements, cash management agreements and supervised various due diligence matters with respect to the corporate structure of the borrower and the underlying real estate. Provided advice with respect to the exercise of remedies, potential tax implication and potential lender liability claims.
