Alfredo Fernández, Chair of Shipman's Manufacturing team, will moderate a panel entitled "Environmental Sustainability Efforts by Connecticut Manufacturers" as part of CBIA's 2022 Energy and Environment Conference. The panel will address steps Connecticut manufacturers are taking to assess and manage their sustainability practices. Attendees will learn what resources are available, including a case study from allnex and an inside look at the U.S. Department of Energy’s new Connecticut-based Industrial Assessment Center, which aims to help small and medium-sized manufacturers adopt sustainable practices and reduce their carbon footprints.
