A facility that processed powdered metals into specialty parts sought to vacate industrial premises it had occupied in Norwalk for decades. Due to the accumulation of powdered metals throughout the facility, landlord client sought damages for environmental contamination. Case was mediated with a successful result for client and vacating tenant paid for the environmental remediation and removal of accumulated powdered metals.
