Debt to Title Insurance Company Deemed Non-Dischargeable in Bankruptcy Case

In re Eberhart, 283 B.R. 97 (Bankr. D. Conn. 2002).  Served as counsel to a national Title Insurance Company in an action to determine whether debts owned to it should be discharged in the Debtor's bankruptcy case. After all pleadings were filed and discovery was completed, a trial on the merits was held. The Court entered a judgment in favor of the Title Insurance Company against the Debtor that the debt owed to the Title Insurance Company was not discharged by the Debtor's Chapter 7 case.
