In its 2019 session, the Connecticut General Assembly passed a number of new laws affecting employers, many of which will become effective October 1, 2019. To assist employers in navigating the legislative changes, we invite you to join labor and employment law attorneys Henry Zaccardi and Ashley Marshall for this complimentary CLE webinar summarizing the new laws and providing guidance on:

  • Sexual harassment in the workplace
  • Paid FMLA time off
  • Minimum wage increase
  • Whistleblower protections

This program is intended for: In-house Counsel, General Counsel, HR Professionals and decision makers

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

This CLE program has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York CLE Board for a maximum of 1.0 credit hour, of which 1.0 can be applied toward the Professional Practice requirement. This program is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys.

Neither the Connecticut Judicial Branch nor the Commission on Minimum Continuing Legal Education approves or accredits CLE providers or activities. It is the opinion of Shipman & Goodwin that this activity qualifies for one hour toward your annual CLE requirement in Connecticut, including zero hour(s) of ethics/professionalism, but is subject to change based on actual instruction/attendance time.

We reserve the right to register only clients and prospective clients of the firm.
