Summary of CARES Act Stimulus Package for Relief During COVID-19 Emergency

On Friday March 27, 2020, the President signed into law the bipartisan proposal for Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (known as the “CARES Act”).  The CARES Act is a massive $2.2 trillion dollar stimulus package that contains a number of provisions to assist the United States economy combat the impact of COVID-19. Our alert will summarize some of the relief provisions contained in the CARES Act.
