Exclusionary Zoning

Represented, as successful plaintiff, the Home Builders Association of Connecticut in Builders' Service Corp. v. East Hampton PZC, 208 Conn. 267 (1988), the Connecticut Supreme Court's landmark exclusionary zoning decision, outlawing non-occupancy based minimum floor area regulations. This case was cited by Connecticut legislature in 1988-89 as one reason for the adoption of Connecticut's affordable housing law.
