Recently, The Financial Accounting Standards Board issued FASB Staff Position No. 117-1. It will serve as a guideline to improve the quality and consistency of financial reporting of non - profit companies, addressing the net classification of donor restricted endowment funds falling under the 2006 Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act (UPMIFA). The new guideline is going to require broad and extensive new disclosures about the organization's endowment funds. It will cover all organizations with donor restricted and board designated endowment funds. All firms that fall under these should have a critical understanding of this new regulatory activity.

The Knowledge Congress is assembling a panel of distinguished professionals and key regulators to help understand FASB Staff Position No. 117-1 and its impact on your firm and the broader market. Barry C. Hawkins, Partner, Chair, UPMIFA Drafting Committee, and other speakers will present their expert opinions in a two-hour LIVE webinar.
