Shari Goodstein has over 25 years of extensive trial, arbitration and mediation experience, and litigates matters in federal and state courts throughout the country.  

Shari handles product liability lawsuits in MDLs and individual actions relating to medical products. She also handles employment, and trade secret misappropriation and non-compete litigation.

Defense of Breach of Joint Venture Charges and Theft of Trade Secrets Claim for $15 Million

Represented a national consumer advertising and promotions company in Connecticut state court in defense of claims alleging breach of joint venture agreement, theft of trade secrets and related business torts, seeking $15 million. Tried action to court. Obtained defense judgment on all plaintiff’s counts; and obtained judgment for defendant on breach of contract counterclaim. The result was not appealed.

Jury Verdict in Partnership Dispute on Claims of Violation of CUPTA, Breach of Fiduciary Duty and Civil Theft

Obtained jury verdict on behalf of 50 percent partner in limited liability company providing waste management services on claims of civil theft, breach of fiduciary duty and related business torts.  Tried case to jury in Connecticut state court.  Obtained verdict on all counts.  The result was not appealed.
