Greenwich Partner Receives YWCA BRAVA Award

Lesley I.B. Schless Recognized for Outstanding Achievements

Lesley I.B. Schless, a partner in Shipman & Goodwin LLP’s Greenwich office, has been honored with a BRAVA Award from the YWCA Greenwich in recognition of her professional success and community involvement. The annual BRAVA Awards support YWCA’s free services to victims of domestic violence; scholarships for preschool, afterschool, summer camp and aquatic programs; free women’s leadership seminars; and free racial justice activities.

As a member of the firm’s Trusts & Estates group, Ms. Schless’ practice encompasses all areas of estate planning and estate and trust administration. She advises clients with a wide range of unique circumstances and objectives, including those embarking on careers, creating new business ventures, experiencing life-changing events, looking to achieve philanthropic goals, managing retirement and thinking about their legacies. In addition, Ms. Schless is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Committed to volunteering in the civic arena, Ms. Schless has consistently contributed her time to a variety of organizations and served in numerous leadership roles, including the Norwalk Community College Foundation, First Congressional Church Greenwich, Greenwich Representative Town Meeting, Old Greenwich Association and Old Greenwich School PTA.
