Leichsenring and Lucan Named New Leaders in the Law

Ryan V. Leichsenring and Jarad M. Lucan have been named “New Leaders in the Law” by the Connecticut Law Tribune, which honored attorneys under the age of 40 who have made significant contributions to the legal profession.

Ryan Leichsenring is a member of the firm’s Tax practice, where he handles matters in all areas of international, federal, state, and local taxation, with a particular emphasis on exempt organizations and personal income tax matters. He is a frequent presenter to business associations and client groups on federal and state tax topics. He has also participated in the Statewide Legal Services of CT’s Pro Bono Security Deposit Clinic since 2007. In addition to his recognition as a New Leader in the Law, Ryan has been listed as a Connecticut Super Lawyer Rising Star® in Tax from 2013 through 2015.

Jarad Lucan practices labor and employment law on behalf of both public and private sector clients.  He has successfully represented employers in grievance arbitration matters, prohibited practice proceedings before the State Board of Labor Relations, and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.  Jarad has also represented employers in cases involving claims of discrimination and retaliation. He is often quoted in the media on the potential impact of significant labor rulings on employers. In addition, Jarad handles pro bono cases through a Connecticut Bar Association Pro Bono Network program. He has been listed as a Connecticut Super Lawyer Rising Star® in Employment & Labor for the last three years.
