Preparing For and Responding To Medicaid RAC Audits

On September 16, 2011, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services published a final rule requiring states to contract with Recovery Audit Contractors ("RAC") for the purpose of establishing and implementing audit programs to recover overpayments and identify underpayments made by Medicaid. All states must establish and implement a Medicaid RAC program by January 1, 2012. This seminar, featuring John F. McCormick from Connecticut Department of Social Services, will provide an overview of the Connecticut RAC Program, including:
