Natalie Wagner is a member of the firm's School Law Practice Group and provides guidance to public schools and other educational institutions on a variety of general education and special education law matters. She has extensive experience in education administration and policy. Natalie has particular experience in the areas of school funding, including minimum budget requirements and Medicaid reimbursements; state regulatory matters; confidentiality of student records; data privacy; mandatory reporting requirements; school climate; school discipline; graduated response models; and strategies for addressing racial imbalance and chronic absenteeism.

Prior to joining the firm, Natalie served as the Undersecretary of Legal Affairs for the Connecticut Office of Policy and Management. In addition, she worked as the Director of Legal and Governmental Affairs for the Connecticut State Department of Education and as Deputy Legal Counsel for the Office of the Governor and as a public defender for the Committee for Public Counsel Services. While in law school, Natalie worked as a legal intern at the American Civil Liberties Union of Connecticut and the Center for Children's Advocacy, and as a legal fellow with the Office of Legislative Research.
