New England Estates v. Town of Branford Litigation

September 11, 2007

Attorneys James W. Bergenn and Timothy S. Hollister represented New England Estates in the recent jury trial that resulted in a $12.4 million verdict against the town of Branford. The jury found that officials improperly seized, through eminent domain, 77 acres, the Tabor Drive property, on which the developer had sought to build 354 condominiums and a 9-hole golf course.
