Purchase and Redevelopment of Approximately 400 Acres of Property in the Town of Preston, Connecticut

Represented the Town of Preston in its purchase of approximately 400 acres of real estate in Preston, Connecticut comprising the site of the former Norwich State Hospital.  The Town intends to redevelop the property for productive use.  Significant environmental issues are to be addressed during the redevelopment process.

$3 Billion in Tax-Exempt Conduit Bond Project Financings

Represent the State of Connecticut Health & Educational Facilities Authority and numerous borrowers through the Authority in tax-exempt conduit bond project financings totaling over $3,000,000,000. The firm is responsible for all real estate and environmental due diligence in such matters, including review of land use and environmental compliance, construction contract review, and negotiation of mortgage and other bond financing documents.
