Join Shipman & Goodwin tax and employment attorneys for a complimentary seminar that will review independent contractor vs. employee classification.  Presenters will discuss the legal implications and potential pitfalls of misclassification and review IRS and federal and state law to limit liability and avoid potential penalties. 

This CLE program has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York CLE Board for a maximum of 1.5 credit hour, of which 1.5 can be applied toward the Professional Practice requirement. This program is appropriate for both transitional and nontransitional attorneys.
