American Bar Association Annual Meeting

August 6, 2010

August 6, 2010

The recent releases of the films “Avatar,” “Gamer,” and “Surrogates” suggest that Hollywood and possibly the general public have taken increasing interest in aspects of virtual worlds and gaming. In order to produce these films, inventions, brands, expression and other potentially intellectual property rights related to virtual worlds may have been required. This program will focus on the licensure and production issues related to the use of intellectual property for or in these films.
