Gregory Muccilli Elected Treasurer of Foundation of the New Haven County Bar

Shipman & Goodwin LLP attorney Gregory P. Muccilli has been elected Treasurer of the Foundation of the New Haven County Bar. Mr. Muccilli, a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Environmental and Land Use Practice Group, has served on the Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2015.

Mr. Muccilli practices in the areas of real estate development, commercial financing, commercial leasing and land use counseling, particularly in New Haven County. He represents clients in all stages of the acquisition, financing, development, leasing and disposition of commercial, mixed-use and multi-family residential properties, including appearances before various municipal land use departments, inland wetlands committees, planning and zoning commissions and boards of zoning appeal throughout Connecticut. Mr. Muccilli also represents developers and investors in tax credit syndication transactions, including historic rehabilitation tax credit transactions and low-income housing tax credit transactions, and regularly counsels nonprofit organizations in the acquisition, financing and rehabilitation of affordable and supportive multi-family residential housing projects.

Mr. Muccilli is primarily resident in the firm’s New Haven office and serves in several leadership positions in both the Connecticut Bar Association and New Haven County Bar Association. In addition to the Foundation of the New Haven County Bar, he volunteers his time to the Board of Directors of the Neighborhood Music School, Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven and The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven.
