Andrew Zeitlin is a co-presenter, together with other lawyers and federal judges in the Second Circuit, at this Federal Bar Council American Inn of Court presentation that examines jury nullification and its place in the contemporary U.S. legal system.

In addition to a discussion of the history of jury nullification and the right to trial by jury both in the U.S. and abroad, the presentation will address questions about jury nullification in a mock trial and jury deliberation scenario based on the Edward Snowden case.

The presentation will also explore what a court can do about jury nullification both during jury deliberations and afterward as well as examine what legal relief is available to prosecutors when juries nullify.
