Environment, Energy and Land Use Legislative Update

June 18, 2013

The 2013 legislative session has adjourned and Public Act numbers are available for most Public Acts. The table below contains a select list of new Public Acts that affect the environment, land use, and energy. It is not a comprehensive list of Public Acts. Now that the session has adjourned, the Governor has 15 days from the date of receipt of an engrossed bill to either sign or veto the bill. If after 15 days he has not signed or vetoed the bill, it automatically becomes law. If any Public Acts are vetoed, the legislature will hold a veto session to consider whether to override the vetoes.
