Danielle P. Ferrucci Named Partner

Attorney Danielle P. Ferrucci has been named a Partner at the law firm of Shipman & Goodwin LLP in Hartford, Conn.

Atty. Ferrucci’s practice encompasses the areas of estate planning, estate settlement and trust administration. She assists clients with the full range of planning techniques for tax-effective inter-generational and charitable transfers and administers trusts and advises trustees. She also represents individual and corporate fiduciaries and beneficiaries in contested matters in probate courts throughout Connecticut.

Prior to joining Shipman & Goodwin in 2000, Atty. Ferrucci served as law clerk to Connecticut Supreme Court Justices Joette Katz and Richard N. Palmer. A member of the Estate & Business Planning Council of Hartford, she serves on the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Estate and Probate Section.

Atty. Ferrucci graduated from the University of Connecticut (B.A.) cum laude and the University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D.) with honors. She also received a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from that institution. She is an Adjunct Professor at Western New England College School of Law’s LL.M. Program in Estate Planning and Elder Law.

Atty. Ferrucci lives in West Hartford, Conn., with her two children and is involved in a variety of volunteer community activities. She serves on the Professional Advisory Committees of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving and the University of Connecticut Foundation. She is Statewide Co-Chair for Leave a Legacy Connecticut, and is a member of the Board of the Planned Giving Group of Connecticut. In addition, she is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut Children’s Museum and the Board of Directors of Spring Grove Cemetery in Hartford.
