William J. Ronalter, a partner in Shipman & Goodwin’s Litigation Practice Group, has earned his Board Certification as a Civil Trial Advocate from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA). Based on objective testing and standards, the NBTA certifies lawyers who demonstrate an enhanced level of competence and integrity through substantial trial experience, judicial and peer references, continuing legal education courses and a comprehensive exam.
Bill has more than 25 years of experience handling catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases throughout the country, and has served as plaintiff’s attorney, defense attorney, and a consultant for an insurance company. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and is on the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. In addition, Bill has served as a guest lecturer and adjunct professor of the Trial Practice Class at the University of Connecticut School of Law as well as a guest lecturer at the Quinnipiac University School of Law.
