This comprehensive, all-day program is intended for practitioners who appear before or represent municipal land use commissions. It covers a broad review of the municipal land use process, including zoning, planning and zoning boards of appeal, and inland wetland issues. The topics include the basic powers and functions of local commissions, as well as an overview of administrative appeals, environmental interventions, conflicts of interests, affordable housing, and other procedural issues that the land use practitioner may encounter.
