Attorney Paul Sanson Serves as a Panelist in National ALI/ABA Teleseminar

June 3, 2010

Shipman & Goodwin Partner Paul Sanson was one of three panelists in a national teleseminar yesterday put on by the American Law Institute/American Bar Association (ALI/ABA) entitled "Mac's Shell Service: The Supreme Court's Ruling on Constructive Termination/Nonrenewal Has Broad Implications for Distribution and Franchise Relationships." The 90-minute seminar was designed for all litigators and business lawyers who represent manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, refiners, suppliers, franchisors, franchisees, distributors and dealers in all industries. It examined the Supreme Court’s ruling in Mac's Shell Service and its potentially wider implications, and discussed strategies for pursuing and defending constructive termination and nonrenewal claims under federal and state laws governing franchisees, distributors and dealers. The seminar was taped and is available from ALI/ABA, along with written materials provided by the panelists.
