"Super Lawyers" Recognizes 47 Lawyers From Shipman & Goodwin LLP

October 28, 2010

Forty-seven (47) attorneys at Shipman & Goodwin LLP have been selected as “2011 Connecticut Super Lawyers” or “2011 Connecticut Rising Stars”. In addition, the firm’s Sheila Huddleston appears on the "Top 25 Women Attorneys in Connecticut". She received some of the highest point totals from peers in the nomination, research and blue ribbon review process.

The list of Super Lawyers consists of the top 5 percent of Connecticut attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The lawyers are selected annually by the publishers of Law & Politics and Connecticut Magazine.

The names of these lawyers will be featured in New England Super Lawyers & Rising Stars Magazine this October and also will appear in the February 2011 issue of Connecticut Magazine.

Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a rigorous, multiphase rating process. Attorneys are nominated by their peers, reviewed and evaluated by a research team. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. The “Connecticut Rising Stars” designation recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in Connecticut who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
