Shipman & Goodwin Attorneys Named 2010 Connecticut Super Lawyers & Rising Stars

October 27, 2009

Thirty-six attorneys at Shipman & Goodwin were selected as “2010 Connecticut Super Lawyers”. Additionally, twelve attorneys were named to the list of “2010 Connecticut Rising Stars.” Lyn Gammill Walker and Sheila Huddleston appear on the "Top 25 Women Attorneys in Connecticut" list and Huddleston also appears on the "Top 50 Women Attorneys in New England" list. Both women received some of the highest point totals in the nomination, research and blue ribbon review process.

The “Connecticut Super Lawyers” are selected annually by the publishers of Law & Politics and Connecticut Magazine. Attorneys are nominated by their peers, reviewed and evaluated by a research team. The “Connecticut Rising Stars” designation recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in Connecticut who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. The names of the lawyers will be featured in New England Super Lawyers & Rising Stars Magazine this October and will also appear in the February 2010 issue of Connecticut Magazine. The resulting selection consists of the top 5 percent of lawyers in Connecticut who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
