Social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn allow individuals and businesses to adopt usernames, establish seachable profiles, and publish content. But what happens when a registered trademark is adopted as a username, used in a profile, or when consumers are likely to be mislead into believing that content was published by the trademark owner. This program will address how trademark owners can prevent or address the adoption of their marks as usernames and in profiles and recent cases on this subject .
