International Litigation Guide Looks to S&G to Author Connecticut Guidelines

March 20, 2013

Frederick Gold, Alison Baker, and Diane Poletta, attorneys in the firm’s Litigation practice, provide a skillful summary of the rules and procedures governing litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in Connecticut in their chapter published in The International Comparative Legal Guide to Litigation & Dispute Resolution 2013.

In the USA - Connecticut chapter (only one of six of the Guide’s chapters covering the United States), these attorneys present an overview of the state’s civil court system and explain such issues as considerations before and during commencement of litigation proceedings, defending claims, and rules of disclosure and evidence. In addition, they describe the methods of ADR frequently used in Connecticut and relevant issues pertaining to those methods.

The International Comparative Legal Guide to Litigation & Dispute Resolution 2013, published by Global Legal Group Ltd, London, is written by leading attorneys and provides corporate counsel and international practitioners with a comprehensive worldwide legal analysis of the laws and regulations of litigation and dispute resolution.
