Environment, Energy and Land Use Legislative Update

The proposed bill deadline has passed and committees have begun holding public hearings and deadlines to vote to draft raised bills and committee bills are fast approaching.  Thus, while there will be some new raised and committee bills to add to the table below in the coming weeks, the overall number of bills in the table should decrease after the committee bill deadlines in the first week of March.

Table 1 below is a list of select environment, energy, and land use bills that may be of interest; it is not a comprehensive listing of bills.  The "Bill Status" column in Table 1 below provides a short description of the purpose of the bill, a link to the bill text, and information regarding its status in the legislative process, proposed amendments, committee reports, and vote tallies.  See description in Attachment A.  The information on the bill status website is updated automatically so it is always current.  To check upcoming public hearing or public meeting agendas use the links in Table 2 below.
